Change filters of views with DXL

Is it possible to enter or change filters of a certain view using DXL?
What I read until now is that a filter can be defined for a module only??

Yes, but I don't recall exactly how. You defined a 'ViewDef' for the current module, then save the view.

Here's a very old copy-view program, perhaps you can get an idea what you are doing by looking at it.
